What’s an Auxiliary?
An auxiliary is a group of member volunteers who support a particular League program or goal. Our essential programs would not be possible without the dedication and support of our member volunteers. Check out our auxiliaries and groups below and join one (or several) today!
Anne Banning Auxiliary
Since 1966, member volunteers of Anne Banning Auxiliary (“ABA”) have run Operation School Bell, a program that fundraises and provides critical need supplies to low-income children.
College Alumni Auxiliary
College Alumni Auxiliary (“CAA”), originally founded by college students, now provides fundraising, and social opportunities in support of the League.

Family Membership provides families with an opportunity to perform service work together and inspires the next generation of caring volunteers.

Founder Assisteens Auxiliary
Founder Assisteens Auxiliary gives opportunities for teens grades 7-12 to volunteer with their parents/guardian(s), develop leadership skills, and take personal responsibility for improving our community.

Hilltoppers Auxiliary
Hilltoppers Auxiliary, founded in 1948, runs the Foster Children’s Resource Center (“FCRC”), that provides new clothing, school supplies, toiletries, and more to children in the foster care system.

Mannequins Auxiliary
With their love of and connection to the world of fashion, Mannequins Auxiliary member volunteers support the Assistance League® of Los Angeles College Scholarship Program program through fundraising and philanthropy.

Nine O’Clock Players Auxiliary
Nine O’Clock Players Auxiliary (“NOP”) produces classic children’s literature as live musical theatre – The Theatre for Children Program in our historic 330-seat Assistance League Theatre.
Preschool Auxiliary
Preschool Auxiliary members have supported the League’s nationally accredited Preschool Learning Center since 1924 with their fundraising and volunteer activities.
Young Professionals Group
Young Professionals Group (“YPG”) is for early and mid-career professionals to participate in individual and group volunteer service, fundraise, and engage fun networking events.

League at Large
Member Volunteers provide general support for our mission, receive the League’s newsletters and invitations to special events. Should League at Large members wish to become more involved they can easily join an auxiliary at anytime!
