We welcome you to join us for any and all of our upcoming League-wide events! See below for all of the details and be sure to check back as new events are always being added.

Family Day of Service
Blast Of With Books!
Help Kids Discover the Joy of Reading 📚🚀
Join our Blast Off with Books campaign—a community-wide book drive providing brand-new books to children and teens across Los Angeles.
For many of the students we serve, owning a book of their own is rare. Blast Off with Books helps change that by ensuring children can choose a book they’re excited about and take it home to keep—building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading.
Ways You Can Make a Difference:
-
Donate new, age-appropriate books
Help us stock our literacy programs with books children are proud to call their own. -
Make a monetary donation
Financial gifts allow us to fill gaps, purchase high-need titles, and support logistics behind the campaign. -
Volunteer with us
Join us at our Family Day of Service to sort books, prepare materials, and be part of the hands-on impact. -
Host a collection bin
Rally your workplace, school, or community group to help us reach our goal.
Click the button below to get involved, donate, or sign up to volunteer and help us blast our way to 7,500 books! 🚀📖
