Inspired by his visit to Prom Day! 2022, Alberto Carvalho, the new superintendent of LAUSD, came to the League today to make a personal donation in support of our Bright Future Scholarship program!

His generous contribution will help provide students with tuition, books, school supplies, and anything else they may need on their college journey.

The Bright Future Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors from the Los Angeles Unified School District who are in foster care or experiencing homelessness. Recipients are awarded annually throughout their college career. To date 59 students have been awarded the Bright Future Scholarship.
