Neighborhood Justice Program (NJP) Volunteer Program awards CRVC

On June 8, 2017, Maria Sedano, CRVC Distric Manager, and Patricia Gaitan, CRVC Supervisor attended the Neighborhood Justice Program (NJP) Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon & Awards.  NJP is a pre-filing diversion program that allows a first time non-violent offenders, ages 18 to 25 years, to take respnsibility of their actions while avoiding the criminal justice system. NJP referrs participants to various partner agencies, such as Court Referred Volunteer Center (CRVC), to fulfill their assignment.  The Assistance League of Los Angeles’ CRVC program and NJP have been partners for three years.
