Court Referred Volunteer Center

Court Referred Volunteer Center (CRVC) provides community service as an alternative to court mandated penalties. This program not only benefits the community at large but the individuals who partake in service. For instance, volunteers contribute to keeping our community’s highways, beaches, harbors, and parks clean and welcoming. CRVC also refers volunteers to local non-profits with missions to enrich and improve the quality of life for Southern California residents. It is here that the program plays an important role in meeting the diverse needs of the Los Angeles community by leveraging an existing labor force. Community service referrals involve thoughtful consideration to the special needs of each client we serve. Consider Maria who was assigned community service at a Foundation specializing in senior assistance. Maria’s supervisor took notice of her work ethic and was so pleased that he extended a job offer! She was excited to share this news with the Assistance League representative stating “after two years of unemployment, this was as a blessing to me and my family!”
